Mista Ock
Originally from Trenton, New Jersey, Mista Ock has
been spitting rhymes since he can remember. Growing up on the "old school",
his influences are broad and it is evident in the knowledge he brings as
an artist. A gifted
performer, Ock shines on stage and brings incredible energy to his live show.
An MC's MC, Mista Ock adds East Coast flare to hard-hitting tracks as he
combines knowledge, lyrics and bangin' beats to create his own sound.
Coming to the North West in 1999, Mista Ock now calls Seattle, WA his home
and has made his presence felt in the local Hip Hop community through his
many live shows. Releasing an independent EP in 2002, Ock gained the attention
of MadPassion Entertainment who signed him and began working on Ock's first
full-length album, "The Coldest Winter". Released in March 2003,
the album gives an in depth view of the artist and shows his diversity as
an MC.
The first single, "Come Home With Me" (featuring Sam Elijah)
was awarded KUBE 93.3 "Song of the Year" and was added to regular rotation
after gaining heavy listener response and 11 consecutive weeks
of radio
play
on
KUBE's Sunday
night, Future
Flavas
show.
Look for Mista Ock's new album "Still Movement" coming Spring 2004.
